PROTOCOL

on cooperation of frontier guard agencies

of Eurasian Economic Community member states

in logistic support of the state border protection

Article 1

The logistic support of frontier guard agencies of the Parties shall be carried out through the Parties’ corresponding logistic support structures.

Article 2

The logistic support of state border protection of the Parties with technical means not produced on their territories but produced on the territories of other Parties shall be carried out by the Parties in accordance with the legislation of the Parties and international treaties.

Article 3

The Parties shall provide mutual assistance in logistic support of the frontier guard forces, as well as in preparation and placement of orders for manufacturing, application and repair of weapons, machinery and equipment used for the Parties’ external state border protection on the basis of separate business contracts.

Article 4

The Parties shall exchange information logistic resources produced on their territories and used for state border protection, as well as on the possibility and terms of their supply.

Article 5

This protocol shall be an integral part of the Treaty on cooperation in the area of protection of external borders of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community and shall enter into force and be effective in accordance with the terms and in the order provided for by the Treaty.
